<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the State Manager, you will be given the autonomy to use your entrepreneurial sales style to develop and leverage sales within an enviable client base across the industrial, power generation, mining and engineering sectors of Perth and regional areas</p>
<p><strong>Attributes and Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Have a mechanical trades or engineering background with an understanding of fluid power hose and connectors</li>
<li>Have a technical background within either the hydraulic, industrial fluid power or motion control arena</li>
<li>Have a minimum of two years external sales experience in hydraulics</li>
<li>Have a proactive and self-driven attitude</li>
<li>Be comfortable with hydraulic system application and fluid dynamics</li>
<li>Possess a sound level of verbal and written communication skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage existing customers within the mining, power and industrial hydraulics sector</li>
<li>Identify and open up new customers opportunities</li>
<li>Conduct site evaluations to determine client product needs</li>
<li>Prepare and present product bids and tenders</li>
<li>Provide onsite solutions and connector application training</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>Based in Mareeba you will work alongside the General manager and Director and be responsible for providing irrigation and pump system designs for agricultural and commercial applications. You will review design packs and meet with clients on-site to identify their needs and gather topographical information to best design systems. In addition, you will discuss systems layouts and application with a focus on converting these into operational projects for the business.</p>
<p><strong>Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design irrigation and pump systems for agricultural and farming applications</li>
<li>Review provided project packs of information to identify required components</li>
<li>Estimate project component, manpower and commissioning costs to develop competitive bids</li>
<li>Meet clients on-site to identify the topographical layout of systems and additional pump systems</li>
<li>Identify potential opportunities and negotiate profitable bids</li>
<li>Project manage installations through a successful commissioning stage</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills and attributes</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Have a track record of commercial irrigation, landscape and pumps systems design</li>
<li>It is desirable that you are a holder of Certificate in Irrigation Designs (CDI)</li>
<li>Have the ability to interpret irrigation designs and plans</li>
<li>Be an operator of AutoCAD, Solid Works or Irricad</li>
<li>Have sound organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and make commercial decisions in line with company policy</li>
</ul>
